Vancouver Island Kart Association mission statement is to build and maintain a safe and respectful environment where everyone can enjoy the sport of Kart Racing. As members of VIKA we celebrate our history, continue to build towards our future while supporting the next generation of karters. Our club’s key focuses will always be to promote: Safety, Sportsmanship and Fun for all in our Karting community.

The Track
Welcome to the Vancouver Island Karting Association (VIKA), we currently race at Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit which is owned and managed by the GAIN Group. As a VIKA member you can enjoy all the excitement and thrills that this world-class facility has to offer. It is truly a privilege to be able to race at such a facility and VIKA is honored that the GAIN Group provides all VIKA members with the opportunity to have several practice and race days throughout the year.
Currently VIKA has a winter series and a summer series; in addition, we host one event for the BC regional series. The winter series is the first three races of the season, and the summer series is the remaining races of the season with one regional race blended into one of the double header race weekends. VIKA runs two different track configurations throughout the season, long track and short track both in a clockwise direction. Please refer to the calendar page for a list of the various VIKA, Regional and other club races, as well as which track configuration will be run throughout the race season. The daily cost for practice is $75.00 and $125.00 for race day, tax excluded.
If you have never visited the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit located in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, make a point of dropping by with the family for an action-packed day of karting. Check out our calendar page for a list of scheduled practice & race day events and watch racers ranging in age from 5 – 78 years of age. This world-class facility offers a beautiful building complete with indoor seating, lounge and an outdoor viewing deck where you can hear and feel like you are part of the race. We are located at 4063 Cowichan Valley Hwy, Duncan BC on Vancouver Island. With over 200 club members, we look forward to your visit and please feel free to ask questions, as our club members are friendly, and someone will always be happy to help you out. There is a $10.00 admission fee for anyone over the age of 12.
VIKA does not provide kart rentals, you must own your own kart, accompany a member or contact one of the kart dealers if you would like to try out karting at this facility. Here are the three main kart dealers on the island: Progressive Racing, Racelab VI or Ignition Motorsports.
PLEASE NOTE: Pets are prohibited at this facility for the safety of our drivers and your pet.
2025 VIKA Yearly Waiver
For your convenience, please review and sign VIKA’s 2025 annual waiver. Signing this waiver means you won’t need to sign a SpeedWaiver for each individual event throughout the year.
